This is an opportunity for parents to earn points by attending our classes. They will be able to spend their points on clothing for their children sizes NB to 4T. We also have massages and haircutting gift certificates that have been donated. Learn more–>

birth600x600Birthing Classes

Prepares mothers for the birthing experience. Focuses on pregnancy nutrition, pre-natal development, relaxation techniques, signs and management of labor and post-natal care. Support materials are provided. Learn More–>

Breastfeeding Classes

Teaches the benefits to mom and baby, explaining facts and myths. Gives breastfeeding tips on getting started in the early days and offers ongoing support and guidance during the breastfeeding period, along with post-natal care. Support materials are provided and referrals are made for moms in need of breast pumps. Learn More–>

Infant Care Classes

This course teaches new moms and dads how to care for their baby and how to provide a safe environment. They learn how to bathe and diaper, along with infant CPR, choking symptoms, Shaken Baby Syndrome & SIDS. Also development milestones and initial pediatric visits discussed. Learn More–>

Diaper Program

Clients can sign up for our monthly diaper program. Once a month we distribute a pack of diapers and wipes. We also have formula and baby food available, please call to see what we have in stock. Learn More–>

Building Smart Relationships

This is a new program that address problem relationships for young women. There are so many women that are being abused both physically and verbally and this program brings this to light in a very gentle way. It also speaks of what love really is and what it should look like, and there is a section on purity of body, mind and spirit. Learn More–>

Parenting Classes

Using a program that is approved by our county courts and agencies, Alight facilitators help parents to be better equipped. At the end of the six week program, attendees receive a certificate which goes into their record and is used by county agencies if needed. Learn More –>
